The notification of change work is free of charge. We will save the notification and its documentation, and record the change work in the property manager\u2019s certificate.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Light and extensive supplementary investigations include the handling of necessary additional clarifications related to the change work. These include, among others, reviewing the contractor\u2019s documentation in accordance with official regulations and ensuring the contractor complies with legally required payment obligations. We submit the notification for approval to the housing company\u2019s board, following the guidelines of the respective housing company.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We provide the shareholder with guidance before starting the alteration work on matters to be considered during the execution and remind them to adhere to good construction practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is important that renovations are done correctly and properly supervised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We always handle change work notifications on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find the link to submit a change work notification at the bottom of this page, just before the Frequently Asked Questions. As you scroll down, please also review the instructions and examples. At the end of the page, there is also a link to order the necessary inspections for the change work.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-naista-ei-tarvitse-tehda-muutostyoilmoitusta\"><strong>No change work notification is required for the following:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wallpapering and painting, plastering and sanding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hanging paintings or pictures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Replacing upper kitchen cabinets, provided it does not affect ventilation ducts or backsplash tiles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installing a washing machine in a wet area, provided that a washing machine connection is already in place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Construction or removal of fixed furniture, such as hallway cabinets or wardrobes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Removal, modification, or installation of a refrigerator, freezer, cooler, or microwave oven. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Replacement of a range hood that operates with an active carbon filter, is not connected to the ventilation system, and has a plug-in (socket) connection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Removing interior doors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-id-accordion\"><div class=\"question\"><h4 class=\"question-title\"><span class=\"question-text\">Shareholder Change Work Notification \u2013 \u20ac0<\/span><\/h4><div class=\"question-answer\"><p class=\"answer-text\">Submitting the notification is free of charge, but more detailed supplementary investigations related to the notification may incur additional costs. The more carefully and accurately you prepare your notification from the start, the less likely we will need to request additional information later. Please remember to attach all necessary documents and information to your notification, such as the contractor\u2019s contact details and business ID, plans with drawings, and any asbestos reports. Provide a comprehensive description of the change work, especially regarding kitchen or bathroom renovations. Please include all materials you consider necessary with your notification. For example, if the plans involve changes to the location of water and sewage points, HVAC plans will be required.     <\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"question\"><h4 class=\"question-title\"><span class=\"question-text\">Minor supplementary review \u2013 \u20ac50.60<\/span><\/h4><div class=\"question-answer\"><p class=\"answer-text\">Examples include the following:<br>&#8211; Replacement or repair of permanently glued or fixed floor coverings. The shareholder must take into account, among other things, impact sound insulation and asbestos testing in buildings constructed before 1994.<br>&#8211; Replacement of kitchen base cabinets or sink, tiling or paneling of the backsplash area<br>&#8211; Relocation or addition of electrical outlets<br>&#8211; Installation of dishwashers and washing machines<br>&#8211; Replacement of faucets, washbasins, or toilets<br>&#8211; Fastenings made through waterproofing<br>&#8211; Installation of a sauna stove<br>&#8211; Installation of stove and oven<br>&#8211; Changes to exterior doors, such as installing a peephole or security lock<br>&#8211; Apartment alterations in accordance with the Disability Services Act  <strong>Please note: No handling fee <\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"question\"><h4 class=\"question-title\"><span class=\"question-text\">Comprehensive additional review \u2013 \u20ac101.20<\/span><\/h4><div class=\"question-answer\"><p class=\"answer-text\">For example, the following<br>Renovation, construction, or removal of a toilet, bathroom, or sauna.<br>Terrace on the backyard of a row house.<br>Outbuilding or shed.<br>Glazing of the balcony<br>Removal of bathtub and conversion of the space into a shower area.<br>Installation of a separate ventilation fan in the kitchen or wet rooms.<br>Installation, modification, or removal of devices related to sewer, domestic water, electrical, heating, or ventilation systems.<br>Heating system components such as radiators, underfloor heating, or hot water heaters.<br>Replacing the balcony floor covering.<br>Changes to load-bearing structures (requires a building permit).<br>Range hood or ventilation-connected cooker hood.<br>Retrofit installation of a fireplace or stove (requires a building permit).<br>Conversion of a non-residential space into a residential space (requires a building permit).<br>&#8211; Works requiring a building permit or action permit<br>&#8211; Installation and removal of fixed electrical wiring, with documentation responsibility on the shareholder<br>&#8211; Relocation of antenna sockets or construction of a personal antenna, as well as relocation or addition of electrical outlets<br>&#8211; Installation of an air heat pump<br>&#8211; Demolition, relocation, or construction of lightweight partition walls, if electrical or other wiring runs inside the walls, with documentation responsibility on the shareholder<br>&#8211; Works requiring water shut-off, such as adding or relocating connection valves for washing machines or dishwashers, with documentation responsibility on the shareholder <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>For other renovations, please check the notification obligation with your housing company\u2019s board. For the most demanding alteration and maintenance works, architectural, structural, HVAC, or electrical plans are requested.
